Hugh Fortescue (2 June 1665 – December 1719) was a British politician.
He married Bridget Boscawen, the daughter of Hugh Boscawen (1625–1701). Bridget's mother Margaret was the daughter of Theophilus Clinton, 4th Earl of Lincoln, and was one of the coheirs of the Barony of Clinton upon the death of the 5th Earl in 1692. They had four children:
After Bridget's death, he married Hon. Lucy Aylmer, the daughter of Matthew Aylmer, 1st Baron Aylmer. They had two children:
Fortescue sat for a number of boroughs in Cornwall from 1689 to 1698, 1701 to 1702, and 1705 to 1713.
